A Bit About Myself
Hi, I'm Desiré — a UI/UX designer with a background in design engineering. I design interfaces for environments where failure is not an option — from emergency responder systems cleared for government procurement, to high-volume headless eCommerce platforms.
On the eCommerce side, I work where design meets systems — custom checkout flows, user journeys mapped against data-model constraints, logistics realities, and configurable products built to convert. I've been fortunate to work with some great brands along the way, including Revolutionrace (annual revenue ~1.91bn SEK*) and Didriksons (~584M SEK*).
On the other end, I design for situations where the interface has to work no matter what. Through Interspiro AB (~623M SEK* annual revenue), that's meant screens for firefighters in active incidents — displaying oxygen levels, pressure status, time remaining, and critical alarms — designed for someone who can't raise their arm, a lens covered in soot, a narrow viewing angle, and conditions that don't forgive poor decisions. That work extends to configuration software and a cloud platform tracking station callouts and team performance.
Both fields demand the same thing: design that holds up when it's tested.
